Aaron Clancy's put four years of hard graft into his Mondeo and the result is cleaner than a nun's conscience. This Max motor is understated and considered, yet oozing with this Maxer's personal style. We like it a lot.
From completely standard to totally sweet, there are mods here that you might not expect. First up, there's the BBS Monaco rims liberated from an old Jag, painted in Jaguar Radiance Red. They look gorgeous and we doubt you'll see another set at your local car show. Almost a shame to tuck them arch-wards with the custom Rayvern Hydraulics air suspension. Look behind the rims and you'll spot Focus RS front Brembos on 320mm discs. Nice.
This Maxer is seriously hands-on, smoothing, chopping and creating all the way. The ST kit is cleaned and refined where it needs it the most, while the CMComposites front splitter could scrap gum off the pavement.
Aaron binned the stock 2-litre motor, opting instead for a more tuneable 2.2 TDCi which was quickly boosted with a T28 hybrid turbo on a custom manifold, flowing through fat pipework all the way to the atmosphere. All this wrapped in a smoothed and painted engine bay.
Corbeau sports seats and a deep dish steering wheel update the interior in style to complete this killer Mondeo.
